Mechanical Humans (Part 3: Droids from Star Wars)

Hello ! No need to introduce these two guys (I hope), our dearly beloved R2D2 and C3PO from George Lucas's Star Wars saga. Originally I'd planned to draw them separately and had started with R2D2, but I found that a bit counter-logic to see one without the other so I added C3PO in the background. Enjoy !

Mechanical HUmans (Part 2: Hel from Metropolis)

Hello ! This mechanical creation comes from my favorite film, Fritz Lang's Metropolis. I hope you've seen it or will find the time to watch it someday, it really does something to you :) And anyway this is Inventor Rotwang's creation, der Machine-Mensch, the machine-man or in this case, woman. Enjoy !

Mechanical Humans (Part 1: Hugo Cabret)

Hello ! I've just started a series of automatons and robots from movies and books and so on. THis is my first try, it's the automaton in Scorsese's Hugo Cabret that came out last year (or the year before I'm not sure). Anyway, enjoy !

Patronus

Hey! This picture I'm particularly proud of; it's a lone deer in the snow with light pouring from above. How philosophical ! If you can, try looking at it with reversed colors, in negative, it looks just like Harry Potter's patronus. Enjoy !

Sitting Fairy

Another master-of-the-obvious title ... It's a fairy sitting on a rock surrounded by dead branches. It's a copy of Anne Stokes, pencil on paper, which I drew on a plane. Enjoy!

Raven Angel

Hey! This one is a pencil on paper copy of a work by Victoria Frances. Excuse the poor quality and wobbliness, I drew this on an airplane :)

Wildlife

These pictures are copied from photographs I found in a Kodak album entitled "capture the beauty of nature", again pencil on paper. Enjoy !
